Microsoft Dynamics SL Crash

I have just installed Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 and there is a problem from beginning stating that the parent has stopped working with so and so error number. Please help me because I was the one in the firm who supported to purchase Microsoft Dynamics and before telling it to the staff, I want your help. I also have used that fix to remove all versions of .NET Framework and then install v 2 but it also didn't worked.
Currently using OS: Vista SP2

    It's sound like this must be version 7.0 SP1 or SP2 and not version 7.0 FP1.  There is an issue with pre-FP1 version that have a problem with an update that came out for the version of the .NET framework that Dynamics SL uses.  If this is the problem I think it is, the program crashes pretty much as soon as you try to start Dynamics SL correct?  You don't even get the log in screen right?

     There are several Hot Fix files that contain the correction for this problem. The one I happen to use for you of my clients is:

     H701_18312sy

     You can get the hot fixes from Customer or Partner source.

    I even dont know whether it is SP1 or  so. Yeah u are absolutely right that, I also cant get log in screen right before it crashes. Please tell me ur email address so that I may send u the screenshot of it.

    I am unable to signup using customer or partner source since it is not accepting my windows live id. Please tell me what should i be doing now:

    Hi Taha do you install with the administrator access riths or with the administrator domain controler....

    The solomon 7.0 needs the sp1 and a hotfix to solve the problem with the framework 3.5 sp1 ...

    Check the access right for the user on the local machine and on the domain controler...

    Do the next test add the userid on the SQL users and asign access riths to owner and public on the sql and try to conect one more time.

    Hi Ricardo, I Installed this software on a desktop pc, and did not run on any server or sql etc.. In this scenairo, what things do i need to fix the issue? I have checkmarked the application to run as administrator also but nothing changes. What should I do?

    Hi this version is very special for install and many factors that you need to contamplate before you install, the version of windows is very importante if you are trying to install on a windows home edition the solomon not runs...

    First., you need to install with the local administrator machine and or domain administrator machine.

    Then you need to install de Dynamics SL 7.0 then the Sp1 or sp2..

    Then all the hotfixes that change or modificate the swimapi,dll and swimapi,tlb.

    Check this options... if you can't to install may be i can help you the next week on a remote sesion ok...

    Thanks alot for ur kind support. You are really the genius person who has good knowledge about Solomon. Now I got to know that why solomon was not running on my laptop because it has vista home premium.

    No problem! I'll get vista ultimate or win7 ultimate! Can u suggest me which version should I be purchasing? I would then be purchasing and after installation then we would connect remotely

    Back from weekend,

    I also tried to install Solomon 7.0 on windows 7 enterprise but the same thing happened. It means for the hot fixes of the .NET Framework, we need to connect remotely. Please tell me where do you live so that we may decicde the timings.

    Hi remember that when you install on windows vista os windows 7 you need to unactivate the User Account Control (UAC)before install, You unactive this control and restar your laptop then install the SL the sp1 or sp2 and all the hotfixes and then try to open the SL one ore time... when this open and you can enter then active one more time de UAC and restart the laptop and thats all... try with this ...

    I dont have solomon sp1 or sp2  and any of the fixes because I am unable to register in customer source.

    ups this is a problem you will need to download this service packs for install and run succesfully on SO that you need to download... may be in the some think on the web or in other forums you can down load the services pack...

    The services packs solves many thinks about operating systems interfaces... and the service pack 2 solves the problem with the frame work 3.5 sp1
