The Quantity Decimals parameter is invalid: 0 to 5 are valid values

Posted on by 180

Hi All,

when I am trying sync the Item from eCommerce to Dynamics GP .I got error like below "The Quantity Decimals parameter is invalid: 0 to 5 are valid values". I have verified in the Inventory control set up and Unit of measure set up it has configured as 0.

I Suspect that, Class ID is not available ( created ) in GP which is sending the classid from eCommerce.

Can any one help me on this ?.

Note : I got this error for only few items .

Thanks ,

Pavan

    So you are using eConnect to create items. Normally when I do this I pass down the item class and allow eConnect to default to what is in the class. Now you said you are not using ClassIDs so you must specify the decimal precision. Are you specifying this precision? Can you start using classes? I have never asked eConnect to use the default IV decimal place precision.

    @Richard,

    Initially, item has no quantity when item is coming to sync in GP. Whenever item has created in eCommerce ,then the item request comes to ERP Side. We are sending the eConnect Request by mapping the fields.

    I think, all items configurion has done properly.

    Could you list out here how many configurations are there in Gp ?.

    Are you importing non-inventory items? eConnect will use the decimal place precision off the items. Are all your items setup properly?
