CRM Email Router

Hello All,

Please help solve this problem as I am awake since 2 days (literally) without a progress:

I got this message when I tried to test access from CRM Email Route:

Name: System Administrator

Incoming Status: Succeeded

Server: XYZ

 

Outgoing Status: Failure - An error occurred while checking the connection to e-mail server XYZ. No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

 

and I got this message from the event viewer:

#61042 - An error occurred while processing the outgoing e-mail message with subject " CRM:0001001" for SMTP: http://X/Y for delivery through X. System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Failure sending mail. ---> System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it X.Y.Z.92:25

    Hi,

    Verify that you are allowing connections and relay from the server that you are running crm email router to your smtp XYZ server.

    This is the server that is denying smtp connections:

    No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it X.Y.Z.92:25

    I agree - From the error it looks like you are trying to set your mail server to be a HTTP address (SMTP: http://X/Y ).  Your SMTP server would be over the SMTP port and protocol and would be something like "mail.company.com" (No HTTP).
