Map pin settings

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi There,

Does anyone have an idea on how to do this? Actually, what I want is when I select a pin on a map I want the work order associated with it appears in requirement panel below.

I would stick to Thomas's recommendation and use the details pane, it was designed for exactly your use case. The requirements panel is based on a view, so it might already have filters that prevents your record from showing up. Example: On the map, you select a WO/RR that has already been booked. The requirements panel however only shows unscheduled RRs and thus will not be able to show the one you selected.

Btw, for the 2 settings mentioned above we have just released brand new documentation a few days ago.

Not sure if you can do that but you can edit these view to show data you want:

Resource Requirement: Work Order Requirement Map ToolTips view (This view is when you hover over the pin on the map)

Resource Requirement: Active Resource Requirements (This view displays in the details pane when you click on a map pin)
