Multiline Text Fields becomes hidden if they include one "{" left curly brace

When using "{" only left brace in a multiline text field, the field becomes hidden. But if you use "}" right curly brace after, the field does not become hidden.

Forexample : MsCRM{onpremise   --> this will become hidden

But MsCRM{onpremise} won't become hidden.

And that occurs every multiline text fields on any entity. And there is not any JS validation control, regex control etc.Just a plain text.

Is that a common issue?

Should i open a ticket for that or is there a workaround.

We are using CRM 2016 On Premise update v1

Thank you.

I would first try the following before raising the ticket.

    01. Clear browser cache and restart the client machine

    02. Restart the CRM server and also reset IIS after restart

And try and access using different browsers and users.

Let us know if you still have the issue

Thank you very much for the advice.

I tried them.Nothing changed.I even checked related css aspx files under CrmWeb if something makes the text color white. But it is #000000 black.

Probably, the problem is because of browsers. It works fine with FireFox but not working on IE(v11.0.96) and Chrome(v46 and above).

Not only one user have this problem, the others also have the same issue. Our development and QA environments are on different servers and both developers and testers have the same issue. The product is not on Prod yet.Is it possible that this problem may be solved at higher versions of MS CRM 2016?

As i mentioned before we are using CRM 2016 update v1.
