Fixed Asset Ledger Posting

Hi All,

I'm trying to post opening balance entries (no GL integration) for Fixed Assets in the FA Ledger but keep getting the below message, even if I delete the lines from the FA journal and enter a posting for another asset and try to post that:

If requesting support, please provide the following details to help troubleshooting:

Document No. = G05003 already exists for Fixed Asset No. = FA000130 in Depreciation Book Code = STATUTORY (FA Posting Type = Acquisition Cost).

There are no asset ledger postings in the ledger for this or the other assets, and also have FA set up as no GL integration in line with suggested approach.

Does anyone have any guidance on how to resolve this issue?

Hi, this may also be a problem with No. Series. Please check the no. series related to FA posting for the last used no.

So update your document number and you should be all good.

Hi - thanks for sharing your thoughts but this has not resolved the problem. Do you have any other suggestions?
