Quite a few people have been experiencing this problem: Filter by is not working on Numeric columns like currency etc.
Several mitigation measures are currently available:
1.Turning on the "Try the new look" feature:
2.Using 'Edit filter' to filter this column:
3.Ask system administartor to change current table control
--Settings > Customization > Customize the system.
--In the opened dialog, expand entities to find one you need edit(my example: Account)
