DIXF (previous name DMF) is Data Import Export Framework; Its name describe its functionality.

In order to know how to use it, TechNet has guide

Apart form that any search engine such as google can help you.

Till AX2012-CU7 it was not shipped with AX installation. From R3 version it came as pert of installation media.

    it has three parts.

    1) Service Part (to be installed on a server where SSIS are installed)

    2) AOS Part (to be installed on server where AOS is installed)

    3) Client Part (to be installed on every machine, where user want to use this module.

after installation, you need to have a shared folder on network and assign path of this folder in DMF Parameter.

Here you are ready to use it.
