Verification on how a line amount is calculated

Line amount is the total amount of the line including charges and discounts, according to documentation. I cannot find a source describing how it gets calculated. From my own tests with the environment I have come to this conclusion as to how line amount gets calculated:

In case the image is unreadable:

(((Unit Price*Quantity)/(Price Unit))-(((Discount Amount+multiline discount amount)*Quantity)/(Price Unit))+Sales Charge)*(1-(Discount Rate+multiline Discount rate))

I am looking for verification that this is how line amount gets calculated.

Is this how line amount is calculated?

Is there ever a case where it is calculated differently?

I haven't seen any way that you can get someone to verify it like this yet. The best way to find out as best as possible would be to set up everything including discounts etc. and then debug the calculation method.
