Vendor Maintenance window not open in GP 2013 Web Client

I can't to open vendor maintenance in GP 2013 Web Client. Once i click that vendor maintenance link i will get the "The window is not available Microsoft Dynamics GP web client." message. Same issue for opening Customer Maintenance window also.

Issue has been resolved. I have to change in "Alternate/Modified forms ID " in user Security setup

I am facing same issues with Purchasing --> Transaction and cars windows. I have changed all windows from Project accounting to Default. but its still not working under transactions and cards.

Hi Catherine, I changed the setting in web Client not in Dynamics GP and the setting changed to 'default' means, In Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports window i have changed the product name from project accounting to Microsoft dynamics gp for vendor maintenance window and etc.(what are all the window getting the message "The window is not available Microsoft Dynamics GP web client."),

Hi Soma, just wanted to clarify, you change this setting in Dynamics GP and not the web client? And the setting to change to 'default' is the user security window? Thanks!

Project Accounting installed on my system. After i change Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports to default it working fine.

I'm guessing that you have Project Accounting installed on your Dynamics GP system. Project Accounting uses alternate versions of the Customer Maintenance and Vendor Maintenance windows. In the web client, all of the Project Accounting resources are being prevented from opening. Because security is set to use the alternate versions of the Customer Maintenance and Vendor Maintenance windows, but PA isn't accessible, these windows aren't accessible. :-(

One possible solution is to revise the security to use the original versions of these two window, rather than the alternate versions provided by Project Accounting.

A more complex solution would be to figure out which records from the "knock out" table need to be removed to allow the alternate versions of the forms to be opened. This solution also assumes that the alternate versions don't have any issues in the web client.

Is it only those 2 windows? All other windows are fine? I just tried these on our test Web Client install and they both open with no problems in the out-of-the-box GP installation. Do you have any customizations or 3rd party products in place?
