Dear All,

Does anyone know how can I set a date for the balance sheet in the GP? I tried too much but did not find out how.

For example, in April want to print the balance sheet as of 31 January.

I assume that you mean the balance sheet of the advanced financials reports, open the report and click on "Adjust", select your column and set the period.

Your assumption is true, I meant the advanced financial reports, I tried it and it worked. One more difficulty I am facing, the report shows me all individual accounts, for example to reach total sales all 20 sales accounts appear and this is not what I want.

I want to roll up a simple P&L statement consists of categories only as the following:

USD 5000 total sales

USD 2000 COGS

-----------------------------

USD 3000 gross profit

USD 1000 total expenses

----------------------------

USD 2000 net profit

As you can see above I want a very simple P&L that gives me the general headlines without going through details, is it possible to adjust the report in advanced financial reports to meet my needs?

You need to use either Management Reporter or FRx Waleed for your financial reporting. Advance Financials is a very simplistic reporting tool with not many options, as you're discovering.

Hi, I'm having a problem with selecting a date for the balance sheet, I've tried clicking the Adjust for the report I want and selecting a period that way, but I can only select a column ID of YTD and the Period and To is greyed out. I was able to do that on the Income Statement but not for the Balance sheet. Any Suggestions?

Change the user date of dynamics and then print the report.
