So, I'm usually someone answering questions, but in this case I need to be on the other side of the table. I'm trying to enable the new preview feature for the Deal Manager Workspace in Sales. As far as I can tell I've followed the very slim instructions in the the docs page, but cannot access the setup menu item in the Settings subsystem in Sales. Keeps throwing an error. Anyone else run into this? If so, have ou resolved?

I tried this with the official doc(Enable the deal manager workspace preview - Sales Enterprise | Microsoft Docs) and also no luck. it could be a bug. I recommend opening a support ticket with Microsoft(admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support).
The Deal Manager Workspace is being rolled out as we speak, but it depends on which region you're in when you get it. The version that has DMW is 9.0.21072. Thanks. I had looked at the schedule and Canada (where my instances are) is in Station 2 which should have had the updates applied given that my version is 9.2.21072.129. Since that is an obviously later version ID than 9.0.21072, it would seem reasonable that I should be able to follow the doc to attach the configured URL to the subarea menu item in the site map for the config page and then be able to access the config page. But not so much. So, then I thought, well maybe I have to do both steps including creating the additional menu item with the 2nd URL that actually has the workspace. Considering the zero forward progress that generated, I'm glad it wasn't much work!
Any more fringe ideas given it's a brand new preview feature?
I think at this point the only thing you can do is enter a ticket with Microsoft.
Yeah, did that. Had a sharing session booked for today with support. Checked and was still getting the typically-not-helpful D365 error dialogue. Launched it to share with the MS support person. This will come as ZERO surprise I'm sure: suddenly it was working. I personally believe MS has had AI for YEARS longer than they let on and have used it to figure out ways to most effectively frustrate us as I pro's

I'm sure by tomorrow you'll be remoted into someone else at RSM's SBX environment . I don't have THAT advantage. Does look pretty cool though. And it adds yet another place to create a new opportunity record from (imagine THAT....).
The fact that MS puts the ability to customize it right upfront in the config page with a button to upload JS scripts is going to be pretty encouraging to the dev folks.
You know me too well ! I actually have seen it as I was part of the private preview. Yes it’s pretty awesome right? Can’t wait to see the final result!
