Dialog parameter before run report (with class)

dear all,

i am newbie in AX 2012 development and new member in this forum

i want to create report that appear "date" dialog parameter when i click menu item.

Can you give me an example the class Controller, Contract and DataProvider ??

    You could use the AOT to create a query for the report, and then drag and drop the desired date field to the Ranges node and it will automatically bring it to the front end.

    You could create your own Contract for the report with a date or utcdatetime parameter, and then tag your report data provider as using the contract.  Then, in your processReport() method pull in the value from the contract.

    You could open the report in Visual Studio and add a datetime parameter to the report itself.

    There are several methods of creating reports, and several methods of implementing parameters.  I would recommend looking at one of the reports in AX that has similar requirements to what you need.
