Retail sales transaction tax is not being calculated while creating Sales order.

Retail sales transactions coming from the POS have tax amount value which is not being considered in Sales invoice total while posting the Retail statement which then creates a Sales order, no posted sales tax created and only considers net amount rather than the gross amount in sales invoice journal. Is there a setup or customization so that it should consider the tax amount while calculating the invoice amount in the Invoice journal?

Hi, could you provide an example to show which tax amount value is not considered in sales invoice total?

Hello, Tax amount coming from POS does have tax amounts but it is overriden at the time of sales order creation for each sales line while statement is posting.

Suppose RetailTransactionSalesTrans Table has a record with tax amount 2.5 but the tax is calculating as per tax code (coming for customer master) on sales order line at the time of invoicing.

    Thanks,

    Raziq

    Hi,

Once the sales line is created, it has lost the link to retailtransactionsalestrans,

And when post statement and create salesline, this is no guarantee to 1:1 mapping from RetailTransactionSalesTrans to salesline, so maybe there is no way to customize to apply the tax amount to salesline.
