Hi All
I receive a System Message 6407 (Could not found exchange rate for bi-monetary inventory) in Inventory Receipts. I already check that we have exchange rate for the date of the receipt but the message still appearing whe we select the article in the receipts screen in the Inventory Modulo of MS Dynamics SL 2011.
Could some guide me trough the possible solution on this.?

Si, en efecto yo era el Gerente de Sistemas de Aramark hace 2 años.
Al final del dia la solución a este problema fue que cuando se tenÃa activa la opción de inventario en doble moneda, era necesario cargar en la pantalla de tipos de cambio los tipos de cambio en ambas direcciones, en nuestro caso, MXP -> USD y USD -> MXP

Sobre el caso que menciona, hay en microsoft algo reportado de la version 5.5, que dice,
Potential Cause - The Purchase Order Line Items do not load into the Detail in Receipt/Invoice Entry. Thus, no Receipt can be entered for the Purchase Order.
Asi que el problema puede estar sobre la linea de la orden de compra.

The Bi Monetary Inventory option in the inventory setup screen is selected. The currency ID is USD and Rate Type is DO.
Could you give some guidance about how we can solve this problem avoiding this message?

Hi Alejandro,
The System Message 6407 you are seeing usually occurs when the rate type is invalid. Could you access the Inventory Setup screen and take a look at the Options tab. Is "Enable Bi-Monetary inventory" selected? If so, what is the Currency ID and Default Rate type?
