I have tried everything I have read on this topic and nothing brings in current monthly data, only prior year.
I've tried FY[1] FY[2] routine, I've tried -1P -2P all it does is bring in prior year... how do you get the program to show current year data?
There must be a way..... And you can't use CP, you get an error message.
The above gave me Dec as period -1P and Nov as -2P and so forth all of prior year.
I closed the last year correctly and am in the new accounting year (2023) yet it keeps giving me last year's data.
So far no one seems to be able to solve this issue. I would be glad to screen share with you to let you see it...
it really is frustrating.
Hello Lynn,
Thank you for posting on the Community Forum.
Did you set up your Accounting Periods by creating the New Fiscal Year for January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023?
That is the one thing I can think of that may lead to challenges here. To report on a period, the Period must be defined in the Accounting Periods Table.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Tom
if you are trying to get the monthly net change, the formula doesn't seem to be correct. Try the below. It will give you net change of Jan, feb, mar, and apr. of 2023. FY means current financial year
what do you try to achieve using -4p, -3p, -2p, -1p?
from the title, it seems you want to get the monthly income, so I guess you need net change of income Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr of 2023?
Yes. I set the date filter in the print from 1/1/2023 to 4/30/2023
Sent you a screen shot via email
did you check if the date filter is correct ?
