Problem installing Enterprise Portal AX 2012

Hello. I'm having problems during the AX 2012 Enterprise Portal install. "Remote server returned error (500)". The image shows the install option selected.Considerations:

  • The site "Sharepoint 80" is the default site generated by Sharepoint at port 80. 
  • This is one stand alone install for lab and study;
  • It's running on Windows 2008 Stardard Server R2;
  • Other infra estructure options installed:
    • Sql Server 2008;
    • VS 2010 Enterprise Edition;
    • Office Plus 2010;
    • Search Server and Project server;
    • All updates installed

    Check the .NET version your application pool is using.

    I solve this problem. Setup could not create Enterprise Portal  web site. You have to  create web site manually using SharePoint Central Administration

    I have the same problem but I am not able to create a site manually as I cannot see the template. Do you know how to import this template in order to do it manually ? is there any document ?

    Hi Freddy,

    Sometimes EP is not installing in a shot. It is fine in the second shot...but install it alone.

    Thanks DHB,

    I think I tried reintalling EP more than 10 times with no sucess.

    The error I am getting is slightly different:

    Exception of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException' was thrown.

    The Web site http://softwaredemo/sites/DynamicsAx was not created correctly. The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.

    Exception of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException' was thrown.

    Do you know how to solve it ?

    Another option is to create the site manually but I am not even getting the tempolate on sharepoint, do you know how to do it ?
