Production BOM Unit of Measure Code

Hi:

The Unit of Measure Code for a Production Bill of Material (BOM) currently displays as "PCS". 

Likewise, the inventory item that the BOM references has "PCS" as its Base Unit of Measure.

I need to change the BOM's Unit of Measure Code to "LB", so that "LB" is the Unit of Measure Code appearing in the Subcontracting Worksheet.

If I make this change, will doing so "harm anything"?

    Hi Marco:

    I tested it.  It doesn't work.  You have to manually change the Unit of Measure Code in the Subcontracting Worksheet or in the Item Card itself, if the end user doesn't like it.

    Bummer.
