Print Report in Collate not working

(1) ShareShare

We use GP 13.

It won't print multiply copy in collated like 1-2-3 1-2-3 if I did check the "collated" box in printer properties->Advanced. It will always print 1-1-1 2-2-2 3-3-3 instead.

Hopefully someone know how to solve this problem.

Thanks Bill, it just doesn't work in our GP 13.

As long as the collate function rely on Printer setting not the Application setting(GP13), it won't print collated. There is no collate option in GP.

I'm just guessing because Word 2013 works like that way.

I found a post that addresses the same problem - for GP10.  But I think ultimately the same answer is going to hold.

So, in prior versions of GP the application did not honour the windows printing settings.  Since GP2013 and for certain in GP2015 the GP application now works well with the printer settings.

Now when you print, each time, the windows pop window shows the current status and selection of the printer is presented - at that time - all the printer configuration settings are available.

So, not sure that this is going to be a great answer, but I beleive your option is to update your instance of GP to GP2013 / GP2015
