How to clear stuck reservation entries?

A reserved quantity shows. When creating new sales orders I'm never able to select this lot it appears because it's locked?
When trying to cancel this reservation. Was this because someone accidentally reserved it on a Purchase Receipt and/or deleted a sales order with reservation?
I thought that when deleting a sales order, any reservations are reset along with it. Not sure how this happened.

Thanks for your suggestions!

There is a 'Cancel Reservation' button on the Reservation Entries page. Are you able to use it to clear the reservation? If not, what is the error message presented?

    Hello,

Can you check the reservation status field in the table reservation entry for this specific record?

    Regards,

    Hi,

Stuck reservation entries usually happen when a sales order or purchase receipt with reservations was deleted or changed incorrectly. To clear them:
    > Go to Reservation Entries page and identify the reserved lot.
    > Use Cancel Reservation from the related menu if available.
    > If the option isn’t available, open the Reservation Entries page from the item card and manually cancel it.
As a last resort, try to create a new order for the same item and use Reserve and then Cancel Reservation to release it (not tested).
If none of this work, you might need a technical cleanup in the Reservation Entry table.

    Thanks

Do my screenshots not show? The error message is this when trying to cancel:

    Error message:
"The Sales Line does not exist. Identification fields and values: Document Type='1',Document No.='SO-1310',Line No.='10000'"

I've tried to Edit in Excel, unable to Publish.

The Configuration Package shows Reservation Status = Reservation. I tried deleting, then re-importing but doesn't seem to do anything. Do I need to change to Status = "Surplus" for both Positive and Negative lines (175 | -175)? Will this cause errors going down the road for this Item #?

    Thanks all

The solution is to delete the bad Reservation Entry from the table. You can't do that from a Configuration Package. Have your Microsoft Partner do it for you.

Changing the Reserved Status = "Surplus" seems to free up the slot.
However it's still there and in reports (PowerBI) it still shows a reserved for this Lot# which if sold would show -175 available.

I tried to cancel the reservation and now it's giving me the error message:
Reservation Status must be equal to 'Reservation' in Reservation Entry: Entry No.=6943, Positive=Yes. Current value is 'Surplus'.

so it's going back and forth. There is no way to open a ticket in BC Admin nor Partner Center support. This is so unusual.
