Why some Purchase invoices are found under Posted Purchase Invoice and some are found under Posted Purchase Tax Invoice

Hi NAV Guru,

My client have posted purchase invoices and some appear under Posted Purchase Invoice page and some appear under Posted Purchase Tax Invoice page.

Notice it is not happening as per vendor, there is scenario where same vendor will have invoices sitting at Posted Purchase Invoice page and Posted Purchase Tax Invoice page.

May i know why is that the case?

Hi

Just check any customizations done on Posted Purchase Invoice and Tax Invoice Page.

You can check the filters applied on those pages.

Are there any customizations? May be on Pages or Invoicing functionality?

Please check what is the exact scenario and when Invoice can be seen on different screen.

@Abdul Invoices are posted directly from Financial Management > Payables, no PO is created. It only happen for some Purchase Invoices

@Rajasekhar No filter is applied on those pages

Notice purchase invoices that appear under Purchase Invoices page is not appearing under Purchase Tax Invoice Page and vice versa.

Standard does not have this ! Two pages for purchases.

It is surely a customization .check with the hell of developer as two different pages created for showing different data using filters

It is customized. you may now recheck, if you are providing different types of inputs while creating/posting the PI. based on that, one goes to normal and the other to tax.

the customization may work on the inputs you may provide while creating/posting PI, based on few input, it goes to the tax.

better you may check with the partner or developer.

its there , you dont need to worry about it , its about the method of payment ,

i don't know why some guys saying its a customized , but its there on even nav 2017 (hope 2016 having it)

A cash purchase occurs when a business pays for goods or services immediately upon delivery. No credit is extended by the supplier. No account payable is created. The resulting expense is posted immediately to an expense account, regardless of whether the business uses accrual or cash basis accounting. Therefore, no purchase invoice is required. The entire transaction occurs in a single step.

Thanks all for your explanation.

Is there a way to turn it off? it is confusing for the user.

Also, I have checked the invoices for the same Vendor posted as Tax Invoice against those posted as normal Purchase Invoice, both have the same payment term and payment method. Hence I am puzzled why they are treated differently.
