End of year inventory report

Hi,

We are trying to run our end of year inventory report (All the items that are still in the system and the total actual cost of all the items - what we are paying for the items, so we can have total $$ for all the items that we still have in the system)

Is there a report that I can run to generate this results, or do I need to run a SQL query?

If it's via a SQL query do anyone know what query to run?

Thanks in advance

guy

    Tim-

also can I get a report that only shows by department so that the report isn't 2500 pages long?

    Hello Tim,

I see your post is several years old, but could you tell me how to set up this customized report to show inventory valuations with a previous date?

    Thanks,

    Ann

FP1 has this report, but I have no plans to implement FP1 until all the bugs are worked out, which could take months more. A lot of people are impatiently waiting for this feature pack to be stable and ready to go. There are several features, along with the ability to see inventory cost at a previous date, that will really be helpful. But until I hear from people I trust that it's ready to go, it's going to sit on my hard drive taking up space.

Remember that the value report in RMS Tim is talking about is for the date you're running it only.

In Manager go to Reports --> Items --> Value List. That report can only give the current value of your stock. If you need something from further back you will need a customized report or sql query. This would be a complex query to run for a prior date but possible... Contact me if you're interested in a customized report.

    Thanks, Tim Braun. timmy@rallican.com
