Unwanted business rules and workflows

Hi

We have few business rules and workflows which are no longer required, i have decativated them. 

My question is, is there any way to delete them saftely, do I need to delete them separately from default solution in each environment. 

My fear is when we will clone the solution and upgrade/overwrite it in production i hope there wont be any missing components error?

    Hi,

    I think, that you have to delete them directly in your environment.

    As far as I know, it's possible to delete them via a solution.

    Thanks Mick, good idea, I'll try deletion using the Patch. Have you done this before, if there is anything i should be careful about?

    We are on-premise.

    Hi,

    If this patch only includes the workflow, you can delete this.

    In this case it doesn't really matter if you're on premise or online.

    Please check, if there are any dependencies regarding the workflow
