SL 2011 print report problem

HI 

I facing some problem in SL 2011, i try to print report with duplex setting it does not work.

here is my testing.

1. Windows - Device - Printer - Preference - Duplex - Off ,
    Dynamics SL - Printer Options Duplex - Open to Left
    Print 2 page.

    Result: printer print 1 page on 1 paper, total 2 paper



2. Windows - Device - Printer - Preference - Duplex - Open to Left,
    Dynamics SL - Printer Options - no change anything.
    Print 2 page. 


    Result: printer print 2 page on 1 paper



have anyone can give me  some idea to solve this problem.

    No anyone using SL 2011 and have this problem?

    is my setting problem or what?

    I test in windows 7, windows 8, windows server 2012 all have same issue.

    Hi Ng,

    #2 looks correct.  We're printing duplex here (same settings as your #2) but our situation is a little different in that we use 'follow-you' print technology on a print server.  Perhaps try setting the use windows default printer in SL to see if that helps.  Make sure you have the latest print driver as well. I know in past some printer brands didn't play nice with SL and you had use old print drivers but not sure that's the case anymore.

    is it print 2 paper or 1 paper with 2 page?

    If the windows printer has duplex off and you go through printer setup in SL and change it to duplex, it doesn't do as expected.  It does print on multiple pages.  I can't say if the print server has been setup to ignore duplex for this printer (as it is the color printer).  I don't have access to the print server to check it out.

    Try creating a new "printer" in windows, using same settings as your default printer setup except for the duplex feature. Name the new printer as "DUPLEX", then select that printer in Solomon when you want to print in duplex mode. Skip trying to override a printer setting from the printer options window in SL.
