Automatically Create Payments from Invoices for Due Date in D365FO

Hi everyone,

I’m working with D365FO and need to create payments from invoices automatically. The payments should reflect the invoice due date since they were made on time.

I’ve tried using the "Generate Payment Proposal" feature, but it creates payments for today instead of the due date.

Is there another way to achieve this, or any tips to configure the payment proposal to match the due date?

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,
    In the "Vendor Payment Proposal," you can filter invoices that need to be paid based on their due date. This functionality operates according to the Method of Payment - Period setup.


    In the journal lines, the voucher date will automatically populate based on the "Payment Date." If needed, you can manually adjust this by using the "Multiple Change" function.​​​​​​​

     
    When generating a payment file (e.g., ISO20022 Credit Transfer), you also have the option to specify a processing date for all journal lines.
