Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation - Sales Order invoice posting issue

For the past two days we are facing this issue in our SIT and dev environments when posting sales order invoices.

This issue is occurring for both fresh and old records.

Below is the error we are getting and posting is not happening:

There are no customizations involved while posting. The issues is not occurring in UAT.(UAT, SIT & DEV versions are same)

We tried debugging for the issue and below is the call stack.

Kindly help with your suggestions and ideas on this issues.

    Are you aware of possible changes in your SIT environment? E.g. was there a database restore to refresh data? Or did you deploy a new service update from Microsoft?

    FormletterService.runSingleThread() logs details of the exception to event logs, therefore you should be able to get more information from there. For example, open Event Viewer on the Dev box and go to Application and Services Logs > Microsoft > Dynamics. I'm not sure which log is the right one; maybe AX-Application. If needed, you can query all logs at once (with a filter for errors only).
