Need some help on the following scenario. If any of you have worked on the below scenario, please let me know.
One of our client is looking to move to CPOS, but also want to do a Dual Display customization that cannot run on CPOS unfortunately, so the thought was to have another CSU, one on CPOS, the other on store commerce. If there is a way to have a hybrid CSU model to be able to run registers on both, that would be ideal. They are currently using Store Commerce App.
Both CPOS and Store Commerce App can run on a single CSU. If your requirement is to implement Dual Display only for Store Commerce and not for CPOS, you can map a different HW profile which has no Dual Display attached to the same.
The scenario for Dual CSU comes into play when a business has stores in multiple geographical locations, which helps them achieve low latency. However, based on your requirement, the Dual CSU is not a recommended approach.
I will leave it to others to see if they have any suggestions on the same.
