Business Central Jobs to work orders?

Is there any connection/correlation between jobs and work orders, or are Jobs entirely independent (you don't create a work order from a job)?

    Items that require a replenishment of production can be created from job planning lines using the planning pages - order planning or planning worksheet. You don’t have a direct way to send job planning lines to a production order
