The Balance Control Account for a foreign currency bank account shows a total of x. The balance of the bank account in that foreign currency in the Ledger Transaction List shows a total of y.
The BALANCE + JOURNAL in the bank General Journal also shows a total of x. The figure I agree with is y, that of the Ledger Transaction List.
Year end was run. and balance in foreign currency posted in year end is y.

There is no mismatch between Bank and Ledger account. There are no unposted transactions.
is your bank account(s) enabled for multicurrency? , have you checked whether someone posted direct entries to the Bank Control account?
Hi,
The balance control option on the journal is associated with the balance control account we set, so the journal also displays the total X.
If you believe the balance control account is right but the bank balance is not, you can check to see if the bank balance contains uncleared checks and deposits that are affecting the bank balance reconciliation process.

The bank account was enabled for multicurrency. The problem was solved once this was disabled. Thank you.
