Custom SSRS report does not prompt for input

Hello:

Preface: I don't have much experience with new SSRS report writing.

I am working building a custom SSRS report where I need to prompt the user for data input. I have an AOT query and a contract class defined in my data provider class. Structurally, far as I can tell, everything should be setup properly (obviously not, but it appears so). While debugging, I did notice when I get to SysOperationController.getDataContractInfoObjects(), the showDialog boolean variable is 'true', but once this method calls loadFromSysLastValue(), showDialog is then changed to 'false'. What I've tried is changing this variable to 'true' while in debug, and at that point the prompt dialog does appear. I've tried clearing usage data with no positive result.

I'm at a lost as to what is controlling this showDialog variable, and I'm hoping someone can shed some light.
