Is it possible to develop Dynamics Crm plugin in visual studio code?

Hello Experts,

I am started learning and development in visual studio code.

While learning I was trying to develop Crm plugin in visual studio code but didn't get any success.

So,  I thought to post my query here.

Can anyone help me to achieve this or let me if is it  possible to develop Dynamics CRM plugin in Visual Studio Code or not ?

    Yeah you can develop the Dynamics CRM plugin from visual studio.

    Here is nice tutorial on how to develop plugin from scratch

    Hello,

    I have never tried to develop plugins in VS Code so I have no idea but you definitely can use VS Community Edition for that purpose - visualstudio.microsoft.com/.../ it's free.

    Thanks for response, I know how to write plugin using Visual Studio.

    I am actually looking for some solution to develop CRM plugin using VSCode not Visual Studio.

    If you have any suggestions or solution please share.

    Hi Priyank,

    Download CRM SDK. This will provide you all the information, required SDK assemblies, and many helpful samples.

    Also refer below url to develop and deploy plugin step by step with the help of sample code.
