Journal is locked by the system

Hi  All,


A user here is having an issue where they are unable to views lines or post an open journal. When checking under the "blocking tab" the "locked by system" checkbox is marked. I am unable to untick this checkbox. How can I unlock this journal?

Version I am using in AX 2012 R2

    If you have admin rights, you should be able to clear it from AOT. Right click on the record >Personalize >get the table name. Right click on the record again>Record info >this should provide you with the RecID. If not, you've have to search the table on other fields. Open AOT >Data Dictionary >Tables >find your table from above >right click, select Open >search for your record in the table browser by the RecID from above or use other criteria if RecID is not available. Search for the field that's named SystemBlocked and clear the checkbox. Be careful, this is live data.

    Awesome, I followed your exact steps and that worked. The user is now able to post the journal. Thanks a lot for your help and quick reply!
