Creating Sales Quotes from Contacts

Hi:

I'm reviewing all of the tutorials online, but they are not the same as what happens to me when I try to create a sales quote from a contact card.

Sometimes, I'll be prompted for a customer template, sometimes I won't.  Address information does not populate form the contact to the new sales quote, etc.

Are there any really good tutorials out there that help deal with these oddities?

    Hi

    From this post I remember you had the setup correct community.dynamics.com/.../cannot-create-a-customer-from-a-contact

    1)  if Contact is a Person then you will receive a message about Customer Template. If Contact is Company you will not.

    2) In my case contact address populate from Contact to Quote. Let me check to see if any setup required here. I used Process -> Create Sales Quote. Are you using the same process or you use Opportunity?  docs.microsoft.com/.../marketing-processing-sales-opportunities
