Hi there,

I'm getting the following on the Dataverse connection wizard in business central (20.0.37253.38055) after signing in as the CRM administrator.

Has anyone come across this error lately? I would appreciate a quick response.

Thanks & Regards,

Daniel

    Hello,

With this release you should not receive the error. Is this an upgraded release of BC where there are still older platform binaries?

    Thank you.

    Hi Marco,

This seems to be a known bug when using the assisted setup wizard and below is the workaround given by the MS support team which finally resolved the issue.

    1. From search (magnifying glass icon in top right corner), open page "Dataverse Connection Setup" (this is the alternate setup).
    2. Fill in the URL of your Dataverse environment.
    3. Use the assist edit next to SDK Version and make sure to select version 91.
    4. Enable the connection.
    5. When prompted, sign in with your Dataverse environment admin account, and wait until the solution gets imported to your Dataverse environment.
    6. If you need to synchronize Dynamics 365 Sales entities (e.g., product, invoice, order, opportunity, etc.) then open page "Microsoft Dynamics 365 Connection Setup" and enable the connection from there as well.

    Best Regards,

    Daniel
