1. What options we can use for setting up store portal ?
[Vineet]- You need online store and it will be setup in Retail headquarters quite similar to Retail store.
Then, A site builder to configure ecommerce site. Also, you need LCS for ecommerce initialization and setup.
2. Do we have inventory inbound/outbound , stock count options available on online store ?
[Vineet]- No, we don't have inventory operation options in Ecommerce site.
Reason- Ecommerce site will be used by customer for sales and order related operation.
Whereas POS is used by store worker for sales and store operation etc.
Therefore, inventory operations will not be supported in Ecom to be ran by a customer.
3-
Scenario is , lets say we have 10 stores.
Can all these stores be connected to one Ecommerce site or we need to have 10 different Ecom stores to be created?
[Vineet]- Yes, we can connect multiple online stores/channels to one site and each channel can have multiple language setup.
We can select or change channel using a selection picker in Site builder and Ecommerce site.
Furthermore, we can also create individual site for each channel. Depends on requirement and setup done.
