Editing or Formatting of Collections Management Functions

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Is it possible to edit the way the CM functions will display when inserting them into a Word collections letter.  The specific one we are trying to get to format is the "@%OverdueDocumentsNotDisputedDetail%@" one which doesn't seperate the Document Number, Date, and Amounts very professionally on the collection letter.  Also, we would like to remove the last column of the function that we do not need.  It seems to me that many businesses would have had this similar request.

Thanks for the info Sunbeam but I don't understand how you can edit the Function in Word since it orginates from GP and there is only the option to insert the functions and not edit the actual functions.  It is a bit hard to explain but if you try to print this exact function you will see how the columns do not align correctly and look professional.  Just to be clear I am not looking for an answer on how to edit the actual letter in Word just the function itself that is inserted in Word.
