I don't thing there is an out of box option to set what you have described. A few suggestions are:

    1. Go to sub-grid properties > Formatting and see if you can adjust it.

    2. See the formatting properties of Section holding this  sub grid as well.

    3. Have you tested this page with different resoultions ?

    4. Most importantly are you using any custom css / web resource in this page ?

    5. Try putting this sub-grid in a wider section and test.

If you share a screen short, hope you will able to get further help.

Hi Yawer! Thanks for the response. Below  are my comments:

    1. Go to sub-grid properties > Formatting and see if you can adjust it.

Subh: I tried the same, but there is no much option.

    2. See the formatting properties of Section holding this  sub grid as well.

Subh: I tried the same, but there is no much option.

    3. Have you tested this page with different resoultions ?

Subh: It doesnt happen in 1366x768, but it happens also in 1280x1024

    4. Most importantly are you using any custom css / web resource in this page ?

Subh: No we are not. we are using OOB sub grids.

    5. Try putting this sub-grid in a wider section and test.

Subh: I cannot do that as the business requirement is to have sub grids in that manner.

If you share a screen short, hope you will able to get further help.

    Subh: Attached screenshot above.

Also, I found that, if I use the restore button and then maximize the form, the sub grid name and add button retains the place as it has to be. So not sure what is the exact issue. This is happening in Company page( we have customized the form by adding few subgrids and tabs) and complete customized forms. Also, this happens with the shown subgrid only and not with any other grid in the same form.

I m not able to suggestion something definately but some other things you can try are:

    6. see form in design mode, is there any field which is not visible on top of sub grid ? If so may be some audgestment can help there.

    7. can try a different browser

    8. Finally creating a new form .. since forms are generated we don't have much control if a wrong character somehow jumped in.

Interested in knowing if someone had another tip.
