Is anyone having else having issues with Integration Manager hanging when the Connect gadget is running like what happened last August?

I have a client that this has happened to at 2 different locations (separate locations, each with it's own SQL Server and GP) . Turned off Connect Gadget and everything works.
I will be seeing if it is a change to their policies, but wanted to see if this was happening elsewhere.
