Without using a third party solution the only access you can get is via mobile express from the browser. Go to Microsoft Pinpoint to look for moble applications that might fit the bill.
Stay tuned for the Spring 2012 update rollup which is likely to bring browser independence to CRM access.

Sujoy, currently the best solution is to install either Virtualbox (free) or Parallels (not free) and run Windows 7 and Outlook in a Vitual Machine environment. Your macbook air should cope, even if it is going to eat up some of your precious SSD space.

Or wait another month or two and Microsoft will have a solution you can purchase from them.
