Can anyone provide some links and/or tips on how to set up an FRx consolidated income statement that spans multiple companies? I am looking to have each column be a company. All companies have the exact same gl account structure.

Frank, I am looking at a tree with over 7600 rows in it. The report takes 20 minutes to run in FRx and when I converted it to MR 2012 it takes over an hour to run. I have a meeting set up with the person that created the tree and I hope to find out the logic in this tree. There are 17 companies and in the tree he is setup rows for various accounts in the GL. From what I remember about FR tree I believe I can get rid of most of these rows but I want to understand the logic of its original creation.
Richard, you would set up a Reporting Tree where each of the business units is defined as a Reporting Unit in the tree. Then, in the column layout, you identify the business unit in the column. I think the name of the field in the column layout is Reporting Unit, but I'm not in front of FRx and it's been awhile since I've used it.
