I would like to know if anyone has added an Item to RMS that didn't have a bar code? I currently have items that I'm not sure how to add because they don't come with a bar code. Can RMS generate a item number and bar code?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A barcode is just a representatrion of a number.
While RMS does not create numbers for you yet, just type in any 6-8 digit number as the ILC and RMS will create a prce tag with that number on it with a bar code type that you select in the properties of that item.
We generate a number using the supplier id code and then the reorder number and use barcode format that is the 6th none after postnet. We use a label printer and have designed a label with the barcode printed on the label.
