Hi,
Is there a certain procedure or a checklist to define in D365 to close the project, other than changing the status to finished or close? Sam

Hi Sam,
The system has no support for a complete checklist. What you need to do or check depends on the project type. Alsways check if you have all transactions posted and remaining amounts invoiced.
If there is an estimate project, finish complete the estimation.
If you missed something and closed the projecr, you can easy reopen it to allow posting of late tranaactions.
Perhaps this is something that can be achieved using MS Flow?
Thanks
Sam
It depends what you want to achieve with Flow. Flow cannot know if you miss transactions or complete the POC for estimation.
Hello Sam,
Agree with Andre when it comes to Flow here. I actually tried creating a Flow that refers to the project stage field. Unfortunately, this is not a field that can be accessed and manipulated through Flow - at least not at the moment. If you are looking for a process where users have to work through a specific checklist first before they can close/finish a project then you need some modifications or organizational procedures outside of AX/D365FO that specify what to do and when.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Thanks for the ideas
