After upgrading to GP2013 and installing PDK 2013, users are receiving an error message when launching PDK:

[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'zDP_SY02100SS_1', database 'master', schema 'dbo'.

Can anybody help?

    I'm experiencing the same issue.  If the user is assigned sysadmin rights within SQL, the user can log in but anything less than sysadmin results in the error listed

    Hi Xavier,

    I hope you have in the meantime found the response to your problem... but the sake of other users still running into the same issue (after the upgrade to GP2013 for example), the solution was documented here in a KB article :

    support.microsoft.com/.../2870546

    Turns out that PDK during the installation doesn't point to the proper default database in the ODBC link (should be DYNAMICS, not master).

    Hope this helps..
