Hello Everyone,

I put in new leads everyday, and in leads I have different types of people with different job titles - CEO's, presidents, owners, and etc... Is there a way to automatically adds these different types of people into their respective marketing list (which I want to be broke down by job title)?

    Hi Kimberly,

Yes, you can use Dynamic Marketing List.

Dynamic Marketing List will give you capability to have a List with dynamic Member, based on criteria, which is you can use Job Title.

    Learn here:

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks.

    Use Dynamic marketing lists:

Dynamic marketing lists removes the manual element.  You can create a query (e.g. all leads where their city equals London).  This means that any leads with “City = London” will be added to the list.  As you add new leads to the CRM database, they will automatically be added to the marketing list if they live in London.  If a leads moves and the City field in the contact card is updated, then they will be automatically removed from the marketing list.

you can apply similar approach on job title

    Hello,

You could create different Dynamic marketing lists and define your query based on those marketing lists, as soon as you will create new lead with the criteria, that lead will be added to your respective marketing list automatically, so for example if you defined your query based on job title equal to CEO, as soon as you will create a new lead with this job title it will be added to your list and in the same way if any lead job title is changes from CEO to other, that lead will be removed from your marketing list as soon as you will save your lead record.

    Hi Kimberly,

As suggested you can use a Dynamic Marketing List against the Leads in your Organization.

    Shown below

As and when the value of the field changes in Dynamics CRM Lead Record the list will be updated automatically.

Use Find button to see the current result set and Use Query to populated members name in the Marketing List record if you are satisfied.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

RE: How to Make Certain Leads Automatically Enter a Marketing List

To clarify - I have a members area on my form, where my active contacts view, or any other contacts view I want to show, shows up.

Here's the problem I'm having. I make a dynamic list, and save it. I return to the list to add members - When I go to manage members, I type in the filter and it works when I try it out. When I actually say use query, it doesn't change my members. My view stays the same, with the same number of members.

I'm starting to wonder if I've messed up something on my form?

    Hi Kimberly,

It must change as the Marketing List is Dynamics.

Have you tried refreshing the View. You may try to close and reopen the List and see if it changes the members.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

    Hi Mithilesh,
I've tried reopening the list multiple times and still no changed result. Here are some screen shots if that will help.

    Hi Kimberly,

The Marketing List Form suppose to have three different fields under Members section.

One for each Lead, Account and Contact.

I cannot see the other fields. Are they still there or have you removed them.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

I must have removed them. How can I fix that?
