Hello Everyone,

I put in new leads everyday, and in leads I have different types of people with different job titles - CEO's, presidents, owners, and etc... Is there a way to automatically adds these different types of people into their respective marketing list (which I want to be broke down by job title)?

    Hi Kimberly,

The only way is to use the Marketing List as discussed previously. Your member list are based on the Job Titles of the Leads.

Now coming back to your Member List sub grid, change the View Selector to Active Leads from My Active Leads.

Since you are having My Active Leads selected you cannot see the Records because this view will only show up your active leads. I assume that in your Marketing List query you are just using the Job Title field.

You can also go to the Marketing Members List section for the Record and see the List.

The Associated View will contain the members list. I advice you to create the Member List by clicking on Manage Members and see if it works.

The view in your Marketing List form is targeted to My Active Accounts / Contacts or Leads. Change them to Active Accounts / Contacts / Leads.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

    Hi Kim,

Change your View Selector, from My Active Contacts to Active Contacts and see whether you can see the Member.

To check also, you can go to the Member Associated View (see my previous post).

    Thank you.

    Hi Kimberly,

I can see that your Marketing List is targeted at Contacts but your Members subgrid is pointing to Accounts and Contacts both.

I suspect that since you have deleted the existing fields you may have messed up the form.

Check your Members subgrid properties as below.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

Thank you both for all of your help. I have added back in the subgrids, and my members do show up under marketing list members. However, it still isn't showing up on the marketing list form itself. Suggestions?

    Hi Kimberly,

When you select Targeted At value as Lead, Lead Associated view should be present under Marketing List Member section, similarly for Accounts and Contact (corresponding Associated View should be present)

    As show below

    4478.2.jpg

    6724.4.jpg

Since you have removed the other two sub grids, you can put them on the form below by moving to Insert -> Sub Grid

Shown below, one for each Lead, Account and Contact (Add these if you have Marketing List Targeted At contains all three)

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

    Hi Kim,

It seems you use different View in the subgrid, not the standard Member View.

Because If I try to create a new Subgrid, it gives me different data depends on the view I set.

Something weird, your name is "leads", but the Data Source is to Contact, in the default one, the name is "leads", the Label is Contacts, but the Data source is Lead.

To check it works, can you go to the Chevron --> Marketing List Member View and check the Contact Associated View

Try to Manage Members and get the result after you use the "Use Query"

    Hi Kimberly,

The Marketing List Form suppose to have three different fields under Members section.

One for each Lead, Account and Contact.

I cannot see the other fields. Are they still there or have you removed them.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks

    Hi Mithilesh,
I've tried reopening the list multiple times and still no changed result. Here are some screen shots if that will help.
