Item Number Error via eConnect

I’m trying to enter an Item into taSOPLineIvcInsert through eConnect. I’m getting an error that the Item Number does not exist while creating an Invoice. I’m unable to know the cause of error. Please help me to resolve the error.

Following is the eConnect error:

Error Number = 108  Stored Procedure= taSopLineIvcInsert  Error Description = Inventory item does not exist

Node Identifier Parameters: taSopLineIvcInsert

    Did you check to see if the item number is correct?  One space can make eConnect produce errors.

    Confirm whether the Item is INV type or NON-INV type?

    If it is NON-INV type then you need to set NONINVEN parameter to 1 in your eConnect code.

    The item number is correct. The problem was that the items were non inventory type. I just follow the instruction given by Bob and now I am able to integrate SOP transaction.
