Good afternoon.
Can't find any valid information about the differences about Industry Cloud and Industry Accelerator.
Currently I'm preparing an article about Industry Cloud solutions, then about Higher Education.
My question is, what are the differences between Industry Cloud and Industry Accelerator? They are both vertical solutions for specific industries.
On the Microsoft Docs website, I can find an information about Education Accelerator (but no Industry Cloud for Education). Microsoft released Industry Cloud for Financial Services, and at the Docs Financial Services Industry Accelerator.
As I understand, the Industry Cloud for Financial Services is a "rebranding" of Financial Services Industry Accelerator, and I can't find Industry Cloud for Education, since he hasn't released yet (and, the question is, will it come out).
Thank you!
Thank you for your questions and hope you saw the exciting updates today at Ignite on our Industry Clouds. To answer your questions, Industry Clouds include a rich set of capabilities fully supported by Microsoft. While Industry Accelerators include a common data model and sample/unsupported apps which are generally used by developers and partners. Some of the industry accelerators have provided foundational components to the Industry Clouds when those are areas are invested in and released. At the current moment there is no Cloud for Education, but the Education Accelerator can be found here - appsource.microsoft.com/.../mshied.edusolution
