After the 9.0 update, all entities who had a Business Process Flow seem to not be connected/linked to these Business Process Flows.

I updated the CRM of the company I work for and realized that stage names didn't show in views anymore. After a lot of research and experiments on the Sandbox, I think the Business Process Flows aren't connected to my entities anymore. I created a lookup from opportunities to the business process flow they used to be connected with and displayed it on the views and none of my opportunity is able to display the id of the BPF.

Basically, I can't access the BPF of my entities, and I tried many different ways.

What I initially wanted to do was just showing the stage of the BPF on the view, but I didn't manage to do so.

I thought I found a solution on this : http://meganvwalker.com/searching-business-process-flow-stages/#comment-1660

But in her example she can access the BPF through the look for field in "add column to the view" and I cant.

I now want to link my BPFs with my Entities. Can someone help me?

    Hi Vincent ,

Please do following action  might be help you -

    - Deactivate your business process flow and activate it again .

    -  Make sure you are assigning BPF Security Access by going to user assigned security role . I believe you are aware that now in the security role , there is a new tab to provide access of particular BPF.

Actually, the blog you link to expalins how the BPFs work in V9. Instead of being a related entity of your main enttity (opportunity) each BPF instance is created as a completely new *entity* in CRM. What is shown in the blog is advanced find where you need to search for an entity which ahs the same name as your BPF.

I have used a somewhat clumsy workaround in a project which is that the Opportunity field Sales Stage (=Pipeline Phase)  contains the Stage Category from the BPF editor. I have just made the Sage and Stage Category (you have to edit the global option set processstage_category) have the same name.
