Create a Workflow / Process to cross-change two fields value in the same form ?

Dear all,

I have two colleagues working on the same Contact Form in CRM 2011 :

- One colleague fill up the record data and then change the field "verification required" to YES to remind another colleague to check

- Upon reminder another colleague do the verification on the record data, and then change another field named "verified" on the same form to YES, and also switch back the field "verification required" to No

My company want this procedure to be done automatically.

I have tried to implement the above by creating two Workflow / Process : one dealing with the field "verification required", and the other dealing with the field "verified". I made these two processes "as a child process", and start when Record fields change, do the steps of changing the opposite field. When I tested it I found that error came out. Sometimes it's the process cannot be triggered, and sometimes the process run but fail as the error said "This workflow job was canceled because the workflow that started it included an infinite loop."

For the required outcome I am wondering if anyone here can shed some lights on how to deal with such automatic switching on different fields in the same form ? Thank you so much.

Yours sincerely,

Kenny

    Hello Kenny,

Instead of going for two separate child workflows, you can use one workflow by leveraging the Wait condition functionality.

    Hi Kenny,

You can use below trick to schedule a recurring workflow to achieve your requirement.
