When I am trying to import an unmanaged solution to my org it gives following error and solution import fails.
Error message: A record with these values already exists. A duplicate record cannot be created. Select one or more unique values and try again. Cannot insert duplicate key.
When I downloaded import log, it shows following following error:

did you create this attribute "key_xyz" manually in the destination environment ? check may be the attribute name is similar but the schema name is different ..

This Error will happen when "key_xyz" attribute is already present in Destination environment and GUID of the attribute is different that the GUID of this attribute in Source System.
Typically this Kind of error can happen in two reason
So Solution could be if it is not production instance and delete the "key_xyz" attribute from the Destination Publish the solution in Destination Environment and then re import the solution.
