We are on the verge of completing our implementation of FO and simultaneously planning to build new PowerBI models for our new solution. Then Fabric emerges on the horizon. Does anyone know how FO's SQL database fits into Fabric?

How FO's SQL database can be integrated with Fabric:

FO's SQL database can be used as a data warehouse or a data lake in Fabric.

If you are using a cloud instance of Dynamics 365 F&O, you can't directly connect the SQL database as it is part of the cloud service. You would need to export the data to Azure Data Lake which can be used as a data source in Power BI. Hi,

Regarding your question about FO's SQL database fits into Fabric

You can import your SQL data into Fabric using shortcuts in CETaS and OneLake. then, use this data in Power BI
